DAFC thank businesses who gave them a board of approval

East End Park

Supporters attending matches over the last few weeks will have seen a number of changes in terms of both external and pitch side advertising boards at East End Park.

The promotion and sale of advertising boards would normally have taken place in the close season, but that did not happen in the summer with Dunfermline Athletic FC being in administration. However, a lot of work has been undertaken since Pars United formally acquired the Club in October to sell advertising space at East End Park, as this is an invaluable source of commercial revenue to DAFC.  Ross McArthur, General Manager commented:-

"Promoting advertising at East End Park, in the months of October and November has not been an ideal scenario, but it has been very encouraging to see many local, regional and national businesses rallying round to support us, and it has also been heartening to see that coming together visually, both around the perimeter of the pitch and outside the stadium in the last few weeks.

"All but three of the track side slots have now been sold, and we are certainly hopeful of having a full take-up in place for next season.  Many of the Club's existing advertisers have renewed again this season and DAFC are indebted to them for their continued loyalty at this time. In addition, a number of new advertisers have come forward to support the Club and again we would like to thank them for their support during this very testing time for the Club.

"There is no doubt that a rejuvenated and more engaging Football Club will provide benefits for the wider town, including local businesses.  It would be good if all Pars fans took the time to recognise the following businesses that have supported the Club, in its time of need, and where possible, reciprocate this support when it comes to buying goods or services themselves."
