Captain Josh Falkingham told the website:
"I have been up to CHAS a few times and at Christmas time it is a really special place. There were a few boys who went so it was good. It puts everything in perspective whenever you go there. It is both a sad and happy place because they are trying to make the kids as happy as they can. We go there with smiles on our faces, chat and try as be as happy as we can because that is what they are told to do.
"It was good to meet the people there, give out a few Christmas presents and put smiles on their faces. If we can give a little back, then brilliant. I was happy that the fans helped us out and those who had raised money to allow us to present a cheque. A massive thank you goes out to those who donated.
"I know people say that Movember is for men's cancer but I just thought we would like to raise money for CHAS. If it had been £200 it would have been a good amount but it ended up being £825 which was more than I ever imagined we could raise. I had hoped to get to £500 so we definitely went past that. I am delighted that we got to that amount and you could tell when we handed it over just how much it means to the people up there."
