Shirt Sponsorship
Tuesday, 19th Nov 2013Club is pleased to formally announce that both the Purvis Group and Macklin Motors have agreed terms to continue to be the Club's shirt sponsors
Following the successful purchase of DAFC by Pars United, the Club is pleased to formally announce that both the Purvis Group and Macklin Motors have agreed terms to continue to be the Club's shirt sponsors this season. Both of the sponsorship deals go beyond the shirt sponsorship and also cover track side, external and programme advertising.
The new Board would like to express their sincere thanks to both local businesses for their continued support during what has been a very testing time for the Club. Without the marvellous support we have had from many quarters, including many loyal sponsors such as the Purvis Group and Macklin Motors, the Club in all probability would not have been able to continue in its current form and retain its proud history. We now hope to be able to progress, both on and off the park, build the club back up to where we would all like to see it, but dealing with local businesses professionally and fairly.
Bob Purvis commented:_
"We have supported DAFC for 9 years, and without doubt the last few months have been a testing time for everyone associated with the Club. It was important to the Purvis Group that we supported Pars United this season to help DAFC get back on its feet. It is imperative that everyone continues to pull together to achieve this, and on a personal basis I wish Pars United every success in doing so."
Andrew Simpson, General Manager at Macklin Motors said:_
"We have always maintained a good working relationship with DAFC, whilst being shirt sponsors for the last 5 years, and by virtue of being so close, share a number of opportunities together. We are delighted to again support the Club in what will be a very important season as it comes out of administration and looks to gain promotion back to the Championship."
Supporters will be able to see both sponsors logo on the first team jersey's at East End Park this coming Saturday against Brechin City.
