Penalty Kick Competition
Sunday, 10th Nov 2013Half time contest at East End Park was the first tie of an Inter-High School penalty kick competition.
An Inter-High School penalty kick competition at East End Park during half time intervals got underway on Saturday 9th November. The first tie was between Dunfermline High School and Queen Anne High School.
Representing Dunfermline High were 16 year olds Scott Russell and James Lawrie and goalkeeper Quinn Franklin. Queen Anne fielded Greg Allwood (15) and Reece Bernard (14) with Cameron Montgomerie (15) trying to keep the opposition out. Both schools took six penalties with Dunfermline High winning 4-3.
The draw for the competition was made on Tuesday 29th October by Ryan Wallace and Allan Smith of Dunfermline Athletic's first team squad. The draw is as follows:-
St Columbas v Lochgelly High
Kinross High v Inverkeithing High
Beath High v Woodmill High
