Washburn departs

It has been mutually agreed between Club and player that the recent short term signing will leave the Club

James Washburn who joined Dunfermline from Torquay United at the end of July is to leave the Club. Manager Jim Jefferies has had a discussion with the 19 year old central defender and following a review that was scheduled to take place before the tranfer window closed, it has been decided that it is in the player's best interests to be a free agent. This will allow James to seek another club.

Washburn has played the full 90 minutes in the Under 20s three pre season friendlies and in the two most recent Under 20s league matches. His first appearance was in a trial against Rangers at Murray Park.

James joined Torquay United at the age of 16 until released by them in March 2013.
