Moore warns opponents
Wednesday, 28th Aug 2013"We break fast and not many teams will be able to handle us when we are at our best.
Jordan Moore was the Pars goalscorer on Tuesday night at Falkirk and the 19 year old described the doldrums in the dressing room after running their local rivals Falkirk so close in the Second Round of the Scottish Communities Cup.
"We thought that we were the better team but we just didn't take our chances. All the best to Falkirk when they go through to the next round but we are disappointed that it wasn't us because we felt that we dominated the game from start to finish. It just wasn't to be.
"We felt that we had the bulk of the possession but they got two goals and we got one. There were two scrambles on the goal line, sometimes they go for you but not on Tuesday night."
The on loan striker is now focussed on securing his team's first home league win of the season:-
"Saturday is the big one now. The league against Stranraer, we need to win that and beat everybody at home so that it becomes a fortress. I feel that we are a good passing side and when we pass the ball about we are hard to live with. We break fast and not many teams will be able to handle us when we are at our best. We just need to cut out the goals we are losing and we will be fine."
Jordan who came through the youth system at Dundee United, has now scored three goals in his last two games and he recognises that he can play a big part in bringing success the Pars way:-
"I just need to keep that ratio going for the rest of the season, I would be happy with that!"
