Ticketing and Hospitality Information
It was April 1995 when Dunfermline Athletic last met Stranraer in a league match and it is 18 meetings back since Stranraer last one against the Pars. In fact out of 34 fixtures between the two, the Galloway opposition have won just twice and neither of those wins were at East End Park. Stranraer have drawn once in 17 visits but Manager Jim Jefferies takes note of the Stair Park upset on Tuesday night when the League One team came back from two goals down to knock their SPL opponents, Ross County, out of this season`s Scottish Communities Cup. He told the website:-
"Every game is difficult for us because these teams down in this division have players who have maybe played at a higher level or in this league. It makes them awkward because we do not have that experience and we are probably better suited to playing in the Championship.
"We have players who can play at that level but when you go down a level you can get dragged down a bit. That is the bit that we have to learn to deal with. Rangers felt that when they were in the Third Division last year. They struggled because it is not easy. We have to overcome that and Stranraer will have a few experienced boys and will make it difficult for us.
"If we can go and play like we did last Saturday and like how we played on Tuesday night, we will improve and somebody will get it somewhere."

So far this league season Stranraer lost away to Stenhousemuir and at home to Rangers before getting off the mark with a home draw against Ayr United last Saturday. The Pars two away wins at Methil and Stenhousemuir sandwich a disappointing defeat at home to Paul Sheerin`s Arbroath two weeks ago.
