Jim Jefferies revealed the new faces in the official club photocall that was shot on Tuesday afternoon. The Manager was aware that fans would recognise the 19 year old Luke Johnston, a trialist fielded on 24th July against Dundee United, his own club.
Ryan Ferguson, Luke Johnston and Jordan Moore
Ryan Ferguson (19) arrived on loan from Dundee United two weeks ago, James Washburn is a 18 year old centre half joining from English League Two club, Torquay United
Jordan Moore is a striker who is also coming on six month loan from Dundee United. Described by the United website as a prolific goalscorer, the Glasgow born player is not 20 until February next year. JJ said:-
"We have already seen Ryan Ferguson make a big impact already. Luke Johnston is comfortable in any position in the back line and midfield. We need a squad in case of injuries.
"Jackie McNamara (the Dundee United Manager) has been great to us. He understands that his players are better coming to a club where they are going to be involved in the first team all the time. Dundee United have a big squad for the Premier League.
"Here they will be involved with the first team and if they can break their way into this team it will only help Dundee United in the future. We have taken them all until the end of December. If before then Jackie was wanting to leave them out on loan then we could continue that.
"If we are bringing in experienced players it would be some that could give three or four years. We have a couple of good experienced players who will play a bit part in Craig Dargo and John Potter because they are combining that with coaching the under 20s."
