Support Your Pars

Pars United would like to echo the sentiments of the Club administrator Bryan Jackson, in his press release of 6 May, asking for the continued support of the Pars Fans this week.
It is absolutely critical that this fantastic support can continue against Forfar Athletic on Saturday 11th May, when DAFC take part in the second leg of the Division One play off at East End Park against Forfar Athletic. Stephen Husband's late consolation on Wednesday night kept Dunfermline in the tie, and a positive approach to the return leg can make all the difference.
Pars United also wish to thank the tremendous efforts of all of the Pars Family of late, who have contributed so generously to "Save the Pars", in all sorts of ways.
It is important to stress that all money raised during this phase has been handed over directly to the Club's administrator, who not only
takes receipt of the cash donations but is ultimately responsible for recording and reconciling these amounts. Pars United has only ever acted as a conduit to raise awareness amongst the fan base of the need to contribute cash to allow the club to survive.
In that regard, the importance of maintaining our first division status for next season cannot be emphasised enough, as Jim Jefferies and his young squad aim to ensure that the Club can move forward with a new ownership model and the bright future that would go with it.
Having reached nearly 5,000 supporters for each of the past three home games almost solely through our own tremendous support, the club has an opportunity once again to join as one with our support on Saturday afternoon. Dick Campbell and a handful of former Dunfermline players will no doubt need no added incentive to ensure that they progress to the final at our expense, as clearly demonstrated by Chris Templeman's two goals in the first leg on Wednesday night?
Prices have been confirmed at the cut price levels of just £10 entry for adults (to all stands) and all concessions only £5. Season tickets do not apply, so the lower prices will hopefully appeal to all supporters who are needed in huge numbers on Saturday to help rescue the tie.
As with all recent matches, when supporters have continued to donate extremely generously to the ongoing bucket collections, there will be a further opportunity to donate any spare coins/notes into buckets which will be manned throughout the ground and hospitality areas.
If you are able to make a day of it at East End Park on Saturday, both Legends bar and The Gallery will be open to all supporters on the day prior to kick off, please come along and enjoy some pre match singing and banter!
Dunfermline Athletic Football Club needs your support on Saturday. Please let's make this a football day to remember and hopefully cheer Jim and the players into the final!
Come on ye Pars!
