Preview Forfar Athletic
Sunday, 5th May 2013Dunfermline`s last win over Forfar Athletic at Station Park was in the Challenge Cup in season 1995-96.
Dunfermline meet Forfar Athletic on Wednesday night at Station Park, kick off 7.45pm. There are contrasting emotions about this meeting. Forfar are delighted to be in the First Division Play Offs while the Pars are very disappointed to be there. But this is also a fixture full of interest. It pits former Pars manager Dick Campbell against his old club and he has former Pars players there in Iain Campbell (27), Chris Templeman (32) and Mark McCulloch.(37).
The Pars kicked their season off at Station Park at the end of July but went out of the Alba Challenge Cup that day due to a 3-2 defeat. Forfar still have all the players who faced the Pars that day but Jim Jefferies has only eight of the 14 players he used that day still available to him.
