The Pars Need You Again

Monday, 15th Apr 2013

This Saturday is a really big one - The Big Derby v Cowdenbeath!

Come along to East End Park

Pars United was recently formed to create a unified strategy towards saving Dunfermline Athletic Football Club, which now provides an inclusive solution for all Pars fans to rally round. With an increased turnout for the recent match against Hamilton Academical, it was a step in the right direction. Now we need you more than ever for an even more important match this Saturday afternoon!

After a magnificent win away to Morton last Saturday, we now need a huge crowd at East End Park on Saturday 20th April for the crucial derby game against Cowdenbeath. With the Club having been deducted 15 points due to the recent step into administration, Dunfermline Athletic has dropped to 9th place in the table. With this comes the potentially damaging trap door that is the relegation play-off spot...
Dunfermline Athletic fans came back in good numbers for the Hamilton match, but we need to ideally improve upon that for this vital match on Saturday afternoon!

Pars United are continuing to face up to the challenges on behalf of Dunfermline Athletic, whilst working tirelessly on longer term financial initiatives designed to both support and ultimately buy the club. However, to further assist with the Club's short term cash flow concerns we NEED to attract the support of our loyal fans.

To raise valuable cash for the Club at this time, could we again ask for all supporters, where possible, to consider donating further funds to help "Save The Pars" by taking the following action on Saturday afternoon:

? Season Ticket Holders to again donate the cash equivalent of their normal admission price to the special "Save The Pars Season Ticket Donation Points" which are clearly identified outside the Ticket Office Entrance at the Main Stand, and to the left of the Home Ticket Office Cabin at the corner of the Norrie McCathie and Main Stand.
? A number of volunteers will once more be carrying "Save The Pars" buckets both outwith and within the stadium, and we would again urge all Pars fans to "dig deep".
? "Save the Pars" envelopes for donations will be left at every place setting in corporate hospitality, and also within the main lounges and again would urge all attendees to donate any cash that they can.

All of the cash collected from the above initiatives can be classed as donations and are therefore not subject to VAT, which has been agreed in advance with the Club's administrator.

Together we remain strong, and will do everything possible to save Dunfermline Athletic Football Club!

Come on Ye Pars!!
