Friday, 29th Mar 2013It is very clear that it is critical that as supporters we need to be raising immediate funds to help the Administrator keep our great Club alive.
Bryan Jackson spoke very sincerely prior to the Pars Supporters' Trust AGM, and made it very clear that he currently has absolutely no money to pay day-to-day costs, including salaries.
In this Temporary Administration status, we have until Thursday 11th April to ensure that there is a way forward and we then have a few months to secure our future.
As supporters we all need to work together to see how each of us can help. It is very clear that it is critical that as supporters we need to be raising immediate funds to help the Administrator keep our great Club alive.
?We must ensure maximum numbers attend the last 3 home games, and as many as possible fill the hospitality suites, use Legends bar etc. Come along and bring as many others as you can. Mr Jackson has suggested that those with Season Tickets and those who have already paid for hospitality may wish to make a donation on match days to assist with the immediate cash flow problem
?There is an immediate need for cash to keep the club alive in the run up to the end of the season and a lot of people have said that they are ready to give donations to help the club through these few months.
The Pars Supporters' Trust has a Standing Order mandate which can be used for donations. Download here.BANK MANDATE word doc

If you wish to take this route, we will then hand all of these funds over to the Administrator in regular amounts. Mr Jackson has assured us that all funds received from now on will be going into a new bank account and will be managed totally by his team in the day to day running of the club. Please can we get as many supporters giving a one-off donation, a regular weekly or a monthly donation to get us through this difficult time? Donations can also be paid directly into the Trust's bank Account, please confirm your donation by sending a note to parstrust@yahoo.co.uk
Fans must realise that if we do not help the club through this period, then there may not be a club for us to support next season. As clarification though - this current campaign will be for donations, and this is not part of any campaign to purchase any shares in the club.
The Pars Supporters' Trust believes in Fan Ownership, but first of all we need to save the Club in its current form with the Administrator as the owner. We are presently working on a website, soon to be launched, which will allow fans to buy into a community ownership model. This has always been one of the objectives of the Pars Supporters' Trust. Note : The Pars Supporters'Trust will continue to manage the Staff Support Fund, as it is important that we continue to support playing and non-playing staff until their salary payments are being made on a regular basis. Separate donations to this can be made either by cash or through the Trust's Bank Account as in the past. All the staff who have been in receipt of cash help recently have been extremely grateful for this support over the last few weeks.
