Steering Group Update

23/03/13: Bob Garmory spoke pre match v Dumbarton

The Steering Group have announced that they have exhausted every avenue in trying to bring together investors who could help stabilise the Club in the short term. Bob Garmory said:-

"We feel it is appropriate to advise the club owner Gavin Masterton that this is the position that we find ourself in. We have tried everything and run out of options."

The Steering Group would like to thank all parties who have contributed their time and effort. Having considered all options we find at this point that they cannot bring a solution to the table that would solve the short term financial issues facing the club.

Bob continued:-

"We have always said we would not go to the fans and ask for their money if there was no certainty of the long term viabilty and therefore we now are advising the owner that the ball is in his court."

The Steering Group is made up of Pars fans who share exactly the same desires as all the other Pars fans and will continue to talk to anybody who can help deal with these issues.
