Wednesday, 13th Mar 2013Chapel Street turnstile open for the Pars end as Lions take on the Blue Brazil
Dunfermline Athletic's nearest rivals have created an opportunity for Pars fans to assist their club by supporting another. Cowdenbeath have agreed that for every Dunfermline Athletic fan who pays to go to their home match against Livingston on Tuesday 9th April, they will reduce the outstanding amount due to them.
Dunfermline Athletic FC are due Cowdenbeath FC £4200. DAFC fans are advised to use the Chapel Street turnstiles if they decide to go along to this game. Cowdenbeath must be thanked for this opportunity to reduce the debt due to them. We only need a few hundred fans to go and that would clear the debt - but if we get more fans at that game than needed to clear the debt then DAFC have been promised the excess back.
Note: Dunfermline Athletic do not have a game that night since their fixture against Falkirk was brought forward to Wednesday 27th March at East End Park, kick off 7.45pm
If fans would like to contribute rather than going to the game, they can make payments by BACS system to Cowdenbeath's account no. is 00257927 with sort code 80-08-09 quoting "PARS" in the reference box to identify such transactions.
