1st Div League Cup - DALFC V EAST FIFE
Sunday, 3rd March, 2pm, King George V Park, Leven
Match Report:
The Pars Ladies started brightest and with only 10 mins gone, Nicole Pullar was through 1 on 1 with the East Fife keeper only to be brought down just outside the box, resulting in a straight red for the keeper. Pullar took the subsequent free kick, floating in a wonderful ball into the top corner giving the sub keeper no chance. 1:0 Pars Ladies. 35 mins in and East Fife won a dubious corner, scoring directly, in off the post making it 1:1. East Fife dominated the rest of the half even with 1 less player, with the Pars finding it difficult to adapt, but managing to keep the score level till the end of the half.
In the 2nd half, ude Shepherd, who was carrying a toe injury was replaced by Rachael McQuade (Guinness). 52 mins in and Pullar, who was causing East Fife major problems, was hauled down in the box. The penalty was given without hesitation which Guinness duly dispatched bringing the score to 2:1. 70 mins gone and Pars pressure paid off, Leigh Aitken made it 3:1. 5 mins later, with Pars superior fitness starting to show against the 10 players, Leanne Forker's unselfish pass gave a simple tap in for Pullar's 2nd goal of the game, and the score stood at 4:1. East Fife managed to pull a goal back to make the final result 4:2, with DALFC progressing through to the 2nd round draw.

2nd Div League Cup Sunday 3/3/2013
2pm, Viewfield Park.
Match Report:
In their first competitive outing, the new squad did their coaches proud, with a very even 1st half finishing 0:0. The 2nd half started in the same manner, with nothing much between the 2 teams. It took a scrappy goal from Viewfield in the 72nd minute to finally break the deadlock. The Pars girls had 3 or 4 chances but sadly were unable to convert them. Viewfield eventually sealed the victory in the final minute with a killer 2nd goal after a quick counter attack, but the 2013s coaches were very impressed with the excellent effort from the girls.
