Under 20s in Cyprus

Update from Stephen Wright on Friday 11th January. Training, Gym, Swim, Run, Quiz.

The Dunfermline Athletic U20s have settled into their warm weather training camp in Cyprus.  Early morning run this morning for the players at 6.55am (4.55am Fife time) followed by breakfast, bed for two hours, then in for tough pool and gymnasium sessions.

On Saturday evening we are heading off to watch a local game between Ayia Napa FC v Paphos FC.

Jim Jefferies was on the phone last night to hear how the lads have been progressing so far, all the players were very appreciative of the manager coming to see them off at Edinburgh airport on Wednesday morning.

Quiz night in the hotel:
Hosted by John "Sue Barker" Potter saw all the players split into pairs (room partners) and quizzed with Sport, General Knowledge and Random Sports questions.

Tie break question How many toes has John Potter have?
Dec's team answer was 11
Scott's team answer was 9
(Finn Graham said I know John the best, he defo has 11 toes!!)

After we all picked ourselves of the floor laughing, John told them it was 10.

We had to make another "more sensible" tie break question with Dec and Allan winning - until there was a stewards enquiry!!
