Preview Raith Rovers

Wednesday, 14th Nov 2012

In the last dozen league fixtures against the Rovers, the Pars have won six of them,

Ticket Information

The Pars travel to Kirkcaldy on Saturday for the fourth Fife Derby of the season and on the heels of a resounding failure at Firhill last Saturday the team will be out to quickly make up for their bad performance against Partick Thistle.  Rovers on the other hand will be out to avenge the 3-1 defeat at East End Park in September.  All this should make for a keenly contested league match.

Dunfermline v Raith Rovers

This will be just the fifth match at Stark`s Park between the sides since 3rd January 2000 and history shows that there is little between them; Dunfermline ahead 38 - 33 on wins and of that the advantage is two at 17 - 15 in Kirkcaldy.

Raith are just four points behind Dunfermline and are seriously in need of a win to keep in touch.  Dunfermline now sit three points behind leaders Partick Thistle and do not want to lose any more ground.  Partick play Hamilton at New Douglas Park on Friday night.

Paul Gallacher saves penalty v Raith

Raith Rovers are undefeated in the last seven matches since losing to Celtic in the Scottish Communities Cup on 25 September.  They have got over the poor form that saw them win just one game in eight but they have won three of the last four
