St Mirren Preview
Wednesday, 16th Nov 2011Pars return to Paisley for the first time since Tam McManus scored the only goal of the game in April 2007
Saturday`s meeting with St Mirren is the first since the Paisley side moved from Love Street to Greenhill Road. It will also be the Pars first away day to St Mirren since a famous Fifers victory on the last Monday night in April 2007 That was a basement battle but the win courtesy of a Tam McManus goal in 58th minute was not enough to prevent the Pars subsequent relegation.. Prior to that win it was actually five games back since Dunfermline won there in March 2000.
In league matches between the clubs, the Pars hold the advantage overall with 36 wins to Saints 28.

The opening game of the Pars SPL season was at home to Danny Lennon`s side and ended up 0-0 mainly due to Paul Gallacher`s heroics and saving a Steven Thompson penalty. Of the last fifteen matches Dunfermline have won five, St Mirren four and six have been drawn.
