Andy Dowie is looking forward to the basement battle against Inverness Caley Thistle:-
"I wouldn't say it is a crunch game but it is an important game. Obviously it is between two teams who are fighting for their lives at the moment. They are two teams who are not on form.
"Any point in the SPL is a good point, especially away from home but we will go there and try to win the game. Even if we come away with a draw it will be a pretty good result.
"We had a few competitive games with Caley in the First Division in the year they got promoted. I think there were a couple of defeats and a couple of draws and it is always a difficult place to go."
Jim McIntyre has blamed Dunfermline's poor results on defensive mistakes and Andy admitted that he had been guilty of some himself. He added that it is important to cut these out if they are going to get results.
"We need a victory and we will take it anyway it comes because we are desperate to get some more points on the board."
The first meeting between the sides this season ended in a 3-3 draw and Andy felt that both Managers would be disappointed that there teams had conceded three goals.
"On the other hand it is great that we scored three. We know Inverness's strengths and weaknesses, we know they can be dangerous and have some good attacking players that will keep us on our toes.
"Confidence is not high at the moment because we have not been winning but we try to keep our heads up, work hard and I'm sure that results will turn for us."
