Football Fans in Training up for award
Dunfermline Athletic started its third group of Football Fans in Training (FFIT) guys on Wednesday 19th September. The programme runs for 12 weeks as per previous groups and the sessions will be for 90 minutes. The first night was held at East End Park where the new intake will meet the coaches and participate in a few ice breakers to get everyone acquainted. On the first night there were some guests who talked about the work they have done during and after the course they attended to give the new participants an insight into what they have to look forward to over the next 12 weeks.
Past participants have continued to gel and attend a wide selection of sporting and physical activities to keep their bodies fitter and healthier, these include; playing 5 aside football on a Wednesday at Dunfermline Academy of Sport, attending boot camps run by IFIT's Ian Rivers, badminton on a Thursday night at Woodmill High School and meeting for walks on a Sunday morning.
