Stephen Husband seals win
Sunday, 16th Sep 2012"It's another goal for the season but more importantly, it's three points for the team.
Stephen Husband feels his match sharpness is improving game by game and was delighted to score the Pars second goal at Dumbarton on Saturday. Speaking after the match he said:-
"It's another goal for the season but more importantly, it's three points for the team. We are doing well with four wins out of four now."
The 21 year old midfielder who joined the Pars in July from Blackpool wasn't entirely happy with his performance but said "it was good to chip in with a goal. As long as we are winning that is the main thing."
His goal took two takes after Dumbarton keeper Stephen Grindlay saved Stephen's first attempt with his outstretched right foot.
"I should have put my effort away first time but I was just delighted to get the goal. The game is never over at 1-0 so it gave us a cushion and we starting playing better after that. We had good chances, Ryan had a few and although it was pretty comfortable throughout the game you still have to score the goals that count.
"It was really windy, conditions weren't the best and the pitch wasn't great either. We battled against that as well as against the players."
