Dunfermline have signed Michal Hrivnak

Dunfermline have signed Michal Hrivnak the 6'3" goalkeeper who played in the pre season friendly at Berwick on Tuesday night. Born in Rimavska Sobota in Slovakia, Michal spent last season at Italian Serie B club, Brescia where he was third choice keeper and his appearances were restricted to reserve team level.

The 21 year old impressed in training and at Berwick and Jim Jefferies is happy to bring in Michal who should be good back up for Paul Gallacher. Gallacher was able to return to action at Forfar on Saturday following a shoulder injury sustained last December. Michal joins on a one year deal.
