DAFC Directors comments re SPL Club 12 status

The Dunfermline Athletic Board of Directors met this evening to discuss the "SPL Club 12" situation and would like to issue the following statement :

The Dunfermline Athletic Board of Directors are obviously disappointed with the decision taken at the SPL's Annual General Meeting today, DAFC felt they had a valid claim for Club 12 status

However, whilst we wait for the reasons and rationale behind the decision from the SPL, to enable thoughts on any action, we are now focussing entirely on SFL1 and look to all our fans to get behind Jim Jefferies and his new team.

Our first home friendly match is this Wednesday, 18th July v East Fife, KO 7.30pm and we look forward to welcoming as many DAFC, and East Fife, fans as possible

We would also like to wish Dundee FC all the best for Season 2012/13
