Hotshots in Kinross
Wednesday, 30th May 2012DAFC Hotshots fundraiser at Kinross Primary School
The children at Kinross Primary School took part in a Hotshots fundraising event with DAFC Community this May.
Hotshots is a great way to raise funds for your school or local organisation. For a Hotshots sponsored event each child has to hit the football as hard as they can to see who can get the highest score on the speed camera.
Pictured here is DAFC Community Coach, Gregor Tennant, with some of the children who took part in the sponsored event raising over £2000 in funding for school projects.Sam Shepherd from Class 1b at Kinross Primary School raised the largest amount and is pictured in the front row with his trophy and medals were also awarded to a boy and girl from each class for kicking the most powerful shot on the day.
Pauline Smith, Deputy Head P5-P7 commented "The children really enjoyed the experience and we were delighted at the amount raised for the school. It was a fantastic fun day that all the children could be part of."
Gregor Tenant (centre at back of photo) added "we as a community team are delighted to be part of this fundraising event in conjunction with Hotshots and Kinross Primary. Dave Anderson from Hotshots has been working hard to promote the fundraiser in Fife Schools after the success he has had with schools in Dundee. The Community team at DAFC are looking forward to raising more money with Hotshots for other schools within the Dunfermline and Fife area.
