Liam Buchanan pre Aberdeen

Liam Buchanan is hoping to recover from a back ache in time to be in contention for a starting place against Aberdeen on Saturday:-
"The goal I scored last week was one of my better ones but you have to put pressure on yourself to get goals. No matter how many goals you concede; we score goals as a team and lose them as a team so we just have to keep going and hopefully when we do get the goals, we can score more than the opposition."
Liam was super sub the last time Aberdeen came to Dunfermline, scoring a goal with his first touch to make it 3-1. He added:-
"It was a strange game in which we should have had the game won. At 3-1 up we should have seen it out but that's football for you. It is never over until its over and we have to take confidence from the better things that we did in that game, take it into this Saturday and hopefully get a win.
"Aberdeen are a really good side - there are not many bad sides in the Premier League. Craig Brown has a well organised team just now including a few dangerous players in Fyvie and Fallon. They have brought Reynolds in at the back who is an excellent player as well. It is not going to be an easy game but we have got to go out there and win the match.
"Obviously you want to win but as long as we are picking up more points than them, it gets us closer to Hibs. They got beat and we got a point that took us closer to them. At this stage with four games to go and six points behind, we need to be putting together a run of victories - that is the only way that we are going to get closer."
The 27 year old was not willing to look ahead any further than the weekend ahead. "There are two big games coming up but I don't really want to look to the Hibs game yet because it might not mean anything if we don't apply ourselves this weekend and take something from the game."
