Tuesday, 28th Feb 2012A group of primary 3 pupils came for a visit to East End Park today
At the end of January all the Primary 3's from St Margarets Primary School in Dunfermline wrote some great letters in to East End Park to ask if they could come and visit to help them with their project all about Dunfermline. Everyone at East End Park was more than happy to accommodate them and their teacher, Mrs Whitelock.
Stuart Arnott treated the kids to a stadium tour before meeting Pars players Mark Kerr, Paul Burns and Andy Barrowman plus Director of Football Jim Leishman. There was a special visit from Scotland's number one mascot Sammy the Tammy.
Speaking on behalf of DAFC Tracey Martin, Marketing Director commented:-
"We are always more than happy to accommodate groups of school children such as these, we have done this a few times this season and the kids have a great time. We do feel by getting the kids in here and meeting the players it will encourage them to come along to a game in the future."
