20/01/12: Macca adds to his squad - 29 year old midfielder to join Pars

Mark Kerr has agreed terms with Dunfermline Athletic and will sign today (Friday) for the rest of the season. The midfielder has most recently been at the Greek club Asteras Triplois and Manager Jim McIntyre was delighted with the news of the addition to his squad:-

"We are signing a player of real quality who will give us real energy in the middle of the park. He is a box to box midfielder, he can play the holding role or an attacking midfielder role. So he gives us good options."

The 29 year old has amassed a total of 395 appearances in Scottish football with Falkirk, Dundee United and Aberdeen but his availability for Saturday's match against Kilmarnock is dependant on international clearance.
