On Monday DAFC lodged an appeal against the red card issued to John Potter in Saturday's game against St Johnstone.
Jim McIntyre explained, 'We feel as if we've got a good case but it depends on how they interpret the incident.
"There are grounds for an appeal as we feel Jason Thomson was going to get there to cover."
John was sent off in 61st minute for a foul on St Johnstone forward Fran Sandaza that resulted in a penalty.
