Woods to Huddersfield
Wednesday, 8th Jun 2011After 159 appearances for Dunfermline Calum Woods has joined Huddersfield Town
Although Manager Jim McIntyre was keen to keep Calum Woods at East End Park the Pars defender has joined League One side, Huddersfield Town. The 24 year old player has agreed terms and passed a medical so Calum will be heading to Yorkshire.

Former Liverpool youth Calum Woods joined Dunfermline in July 2006 and on 12th March 2009, signed an extension to his contract - until 31st May 2011. A product of the Liverpool Soccer Academy Calum played many games for the Reds at U17 and U19 level.He was spotted early on as a talent and played with the Liverpool Academy from the age the age of 10. He broke into the the U17 side midway through the 2002/03 season playing mostly on the left wing, and caught the eye with some promising displays..
Versatile and two footed, Calum played right back, left back and in both wide midfield positions before leaving the Merseyside club to join Dunfermline in 2006. Calum made his Dunfermline debut on the opening day of the 2006/07 season but started only 9 more matches that season and was often an unused sub. A much more regular starter - 26 times in 2007-08.
Calum boasts Dunfermline appearances - 141 (plus 18 as sub), eleven goals, the last being on 12/03/11 v Falkirk. He leaves with the best wishes of the Club, Management, team mates and fans. Just remember young Harry is eligible to play for Scotland!
