Boyle Joins Macca's Squad

Patrick Boyle has signed a two year contract.

Dunfermline Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of left sided defender Patrick Boyle.

Patrick has joined Jim McIntyre's squad on a two year contract.

Boyle started his career with Everton, joining their academy in 2003 before earning a professional contract after 2 years. During his three years with Everton, He appeared for Norwich and Crewe Alexandra on loan.

Following his release from Everton he joined Dumbarton in January 2009 after impressing during three games as a trialist. In the remainder of the 2008/09 season he went on to make 17 apearances helping Dumbarton to the Third Division Championship. During that summer he signed for Partick Thistle on a two year contract going on to make 50 appearances, scoring 5 goals.
