Agreement reached with eight of the championship winning squad

Jim McIntyre is pleased to announce that offers made to eight of his championship winning squad have been agreed.  Steven McDougall, Andy Kirk, Andy Dowie, Nick Phinn, Chris Smith, Martin Hardie, Kevin Rutkiewicz and Joe Cardle are the players who have already accepted the offer made to them.

The Manager commented:-

"I am absolutely thrilled that we have come to an agreement with a group of players who I believe are good enough to compliment the SPL."

So far the players who have signed their extensions are: Steven McDougall, Nick Phinn, Martin Hardie, Gary Mason, Andy Dowie, and Austin McCann all signed 1 year contract extensions, while Joe Cardle and Andy Kirk have signed 2 year extensions.

Calum Woods has also been made an offer but he has been given time to explore interest in him from England before making a decision.  The one year deal to striker Jordan White was not accepted within the timescale of the offer and he has been released.

The Manager added that another pre season friendly has been confirmed  versus Brechin City at Glebe Park on Tuesday 5th July, kick off 7.45pm.
