Jim McIntyre is IRN BRU's Mr April

Congratulations to the Pars gaffer Jim McIntyre who has won the Barrs Irn Bru Phenomenal First Division Manager of the Month for the second successive month.  He claimed that it was his players who had really earned him the award:-

 "We had better results I think in September and they gave it to another manager.  It really doesn't bother me.  It means if you are getting it your team is doing well and that is important.  The Manager of the Month award might say your name on it, but it's about your players.  Football is about players.  It's a managers job to organise them, know their jobs and play within a team structure.

"If you have three or four players who don't go out and perform then you are not going to win a game.  That's where our players in the last couple of months from the beginning of March onwards have been immense.  They have just kept it going.  They have lived and breathed their football something I have asked them to do as well and they deserve everything that is coming to them."
