Preview v Ross County
Sunday, 27th Mar 2011In five visits to Dingwall, Dunfermline have only left once with all three points. Jake Hyde will join the squad as a trialist tonight
Tuesday night`s fixture against Ross County is the fixture brought forward from Saturday 9th April because of the Dingwall side`s final appearance in this season`s Challenge Cup. After seven matches already this month the Pars could possibly have done with the rest but the re-arranged fixture brings with it the opportunity to go top since Raith Rovers have no midweek fixture. Dunfermline sit second in the table on 52 points knowing that if they win all their six remaining games they will finish on top.

In the league Dunfermline are unbeaten away since 29th January but County have hit a bit of form since their new manager arrived. Having won just one home match 3-1 over Stirling Albion in September, since Jimmy Calderwood was appointed they have defeated Falkirk and Morton, drawn with Dunfermline and Partick and lost just once - a narrow 2-1 defeat to Queen of the South.
