Preview Queen of the South
Wednesday, 23rd Feb 2011Last time the Pars travelled to Palmerston in October this year, an own goal by Andy Dowie and a long distance effort from Willie McLaren separated the teams. In December Dunfermline won the return.
Last time Dunfermline travelled to Dumfries as the league leaders but this time they head off down the M74 trailling Raith Rovers by three points with a game in hand. Looking over their shoulders Falkirk could draw level should they win their two matches in hand and opponents Queen of the South are still in contention capable of getting within two points of Raith if they were to win the four games that they are behind by.
