David Graham Post Cowden

A brace of goals against the Blue Brazil allows Davie to celebrate getting closer to earning a strip that fits.

David Graham v Cowdenbeath

David Graham scored two goals against Cowdenbeath and after the game he joked that his successes came from sclaffs! More importantly for him he is hoping that the goals earns him a kit that fits him.

"I'm not fussed how they go in as long as they go in the back of the net. The kitman has got me on a goal target for the end of the year, so if I meet his target I will get kit in my size. That's me two closer to getting clothes that fit me. Extra large doesn't suit a wee guy like me.

"I had one in the first half that  I should have scored from as well; obviously I have not caught it right and it went past the post. Thankfully the two chances I had in the second half went in the back of the net and got it a good victory."

David had another subsequent chance that slipped outside the right goalpost that would have completed his hat-trick:-

"I will take two because Kirkie and Liam have bagged two as well for a good result in a local derby. We had a lot of the play in the first half without that killer touch. In games like that you normally get hit with a succour pinch so it was good to come out in the second half and get the early goal. It maybe deflated them a bit while our tails went up."

The next game comes up in just three days time and David Graham hopes to go into that game with plenty of confidence. A win over Falkirk would take Dunfermline above Raith Rovers and back to the top of the league.

"They are massive games at this time in the season, another local derby and a big crowd at East End so it is a game to look forward to."
