Dunfermline Athletic agree terms with Liam Buchanan

Dunfermline Athletic are delighted to announce that they have agreed terms with Partick Thistle and former Cowdenbeath striker Liam Buchanan, subject to a medical on Friday 21st January.

The website hopes to speak to both Jim McIntyre and his newest recruit on Friday.

Liam Buchanan is 25 years of age and has earned himself a reputation as a consistent goalscorer.

The Edinburgh born lad joined Cowdenbeath at youth level progressing into their first team and being the club's top goalscorer in 2005/06 and 2006/07. When he left to join Partick Thistle he took that title there as well in 2007/08, hitting 14 goals in 30 appearances before injury put him out until his comeback in October 2008. In total Liam has scored 36 goals for Thistle in 102 appearances.
