The winter weather has put paid to Dunfermline's trip up the A9 to face Willie McStay's Ross County on Saturday. But with Raith's match v Cowdenbeath also postponed the Pars earn the status of league leaders at Christmas.

The first meeting this season turned out to be an entertaining 3-2 win courtesy of a 90th minute Steven McDougall goal. Scott Boyd put the highlanders ahead, Wullie Gibson equalised and Pat Clarke scored just before half time. Steven Craig made it all square in 48 minutes before the dramatic winner by substitute McDougall.

"Ross County are down near the foot of the table but you can't read too much into that. It will be a right hard game and up there is never easy. There again we will go into that with a lot of confidence."
