Wullie Gibson Post Stirling
Saturday, 30th Oct 2010"Last year it could have been a banana skin, when we dropped silly points at home but now we are still unbeaten at home and hopefully that will continue."
Wullie Gibson was awarded the Man of the Match award again in the game against Stirling Albion. He gave his thoughts on the win:-
"I thought we did alright in the first half but Stirling made it a lot harder for us. We didn't really get to grips with the second half but when we got the third goal that settled us down."
Last season this was the kind of encounter that Dunfermline might have slipped up in:-
"I don't think that we are doing anything tactically different from what we did last season. We set out our stall 4-4-2; try and get the wide boys on it and get the balls in the box for Andy and Pat or whoever is up there with Andy. We have had a wee bit more time to gel. Last year it could have been a banana skin, when we dropped silly points at home but now we are still unbeaten at home and hopefully that will continue."
The games cannot come quick enough for Wullie who scored his fifth goal of the season in the win against Stirling:-
"I look forward to a Saturday to be fair, I could play again tomorrow to be honest but it is a team game; the team is doing well at the moment and we must just concentrate game by game on taking the three points."
