Preview East Fife
Wednesday, 19th Mar 2014It is over 25 years since Dunfermline`s last home league victory over East Fife.
East Fife travel to East End Park on the back on a heavy 5-0 defeat from Ayr United but they will be met with no sympathy by a Dunfermline side who have failed to take a victory from their last three games.

The Methil club have a reasonable league record against the Pars so much so it is over 25 years since Dunfermline`s last home victory over them in the league. That 5-1 win was on 7th October 1978 and primarily due to four goals from Irishman Mike Leonard.

Some would say that history of games played 25 years ago aren`t really going to give a pointer to what will happen this Saturday but back in October 2013 two late goals at East End Park won the match for East Fife. Jordan Moore had the Pars ahead before the break but goals from Ross Brown and Liam Buchanan both within the last ten minutes foiled hopes of a home win.
