Players clean up at the Pars carwash
Saturday, 22nd Feb 2014Pars Wash is located in the car park behind the North Stand at East End Park and is sign posted from Halbeath Road.
Pars United are delighted to announce that Pars Wash officially opened for business on Monday 27 January. Pars Wash is the idea of Peter Collins who recently approached the Club with this novel way of providing car drivers with a necessary service, but allowing them to assist the Club at the same time.
Pars Wash is located in the car park behind the North Stand at East End Park and is sign posted from Halbeath Road. If driving from the town centre, turn left immediately after the Football Ground and continue straight along the road between Macklin Motors and the East Stand, following the Pars Wash signs round behind the North Stand. The entrance (and exit), are clearly marked by traffic cones.

Peter and his colleagues have worked tirelessly to make all of the necessary arrangements as well as repairing and preparing the site to allow this novel fund raising idea to come to fruition, and deserve great credit for doing so.
The Club would like to appeal to all Pars supporters to use this facility in future when thinking of cleaning their car as £1 for every car washed, will go to DAFC. Spread the word amongst your friends and family too!

Peter commented:-
"I am acutely aware that many Pars fans have dug deep already to help the Club, but it is still vital that DAFC continues to raise further funds, so I just felt this was a way of providing a service in return but still raising funds for the Club. At the end of the day everyone needs to wash their car, so why not do it at the Pars Wash! Although we will be using pressure washers, we will be one of the few car wash facilities in the local area who will also wash by hand for a better full time result!"
