Centenary Club Lifeline: Very Important Message to Pars Fans
DAFC are pleased to announce that the Centenary Club Lifeline has now received 880 new applications. However, having now undertaken two months bank reconciliations since the revitalised membership scheme was launched, 100 or so prospective members who applied online have still not set up their standing order mandate.
It would appear that some supporters did not realise that they had to contact their own bank to set up the standing order mandate, or this may have slipped their mind during the busy festive period. In addition, in recent days some supporters have contacted the Club asking why the monthly payments had not yet been collected from their bank.
All members who applied online must contact their bank themselves (by telephone or via the internet) to set up the standing order instruction. Therefore, the Club would like to make an urgent appeal to all supporters who applied on line, and who have not instructed their bank to set up the relevant standing order, to do so in the next couple of weeks otherwise they will miss the qualifying date of 1 March for the special prize draw of the Chevrolet Spark Car.
When contacting their bank, new members must highlight:
? their unique membership ID number (which was emailed to them on joining) to ensure
this is quoted as the reference number for the monthly standing order; and
? the following payment details - Sort Code: 82-62-19, Clydesdale Bank, Dunfermline,
Account Number: 00174982, for credit to Centenary Club Lifeline.
All supporters who fall in to this category will be contacted by telephone or email to encourage them to complete the application process.
Manager, Jim Jefferies commented "can I urge all members who have not set up their standing order mandate to do so as a matter of urgency, as they have already shown their commitment to help the Club by taking the time to apply, but until their bank arrangements are made the Club is not yet realising the financial benefit of this. As has already been demonstrated, the Board have used this regular income wisely to re-sign our young talented squad, and if we lose 100 members that is £2000 per month of a shortfall, which is a lot of money to the Club at the present time. If you not already done so, please take 10 minutes to contact your bank and get this in place, as we are all in this together which is why I have joined along with my coaching staff and all of the Board"
Finally, everyone at the Club would like to pass on their congratulations to the January Lifeline cash winners of £250 each:
3557 Robin Hughes (Dunfermline)
3006 Kevin Park (Dunfermline)
4022 Ian Geddes (Buckie)
0985 Gordon Milne (Kingseat)
