So far in League One Dunfermline have a 100% record against the Lanarkshire club. The 2-1 win at home in September ended a sequence of two Airdrie United wins at East End Park in season 2012/2013 and the most recent meeting in November saw the Pars seal a resounding 3-0 victory with goals from Shaun Byrne, Allan Smith and Craig Dargo.

Of the last dozen meetings Dunfermline have won seven, Airdrie two and three games have been drawn. Statistics show that the Diamonds do not have a good record away from home. Airdrie`s 2-1 win over the Pars in May was their last away win but they have drawn on the road at Forfar and Ayr. Had it not been for Dunfermline their last away win would have been at Dumbarton in October 2012.
