A true multi-media service, fans will find the information and news they are used to receiving is now packaged in an exceptionally user friendly way. The Dunfermline Media Centre also allows fans to subscribe to additional content, which for the first time will include regular match day commentaries and on demand shows.
DMC Editor Chris Kane says, "The Internet offers a fantastic way for us to deliver exciting and professional content direct to fans. Initially we'll be making text stories and audio programmes available, with video content coming very soon in the next couple of months.
The initial schedule will see regular "Matchday Build Up" interviews on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, featuring manager Jim McIntyre and his players ahead of Saturday's game. Then on matchday, along with live match day commentary, there will be a "Matchday Rewind" show available later that evening with a match report, analysis and interviews with the management and players. Additional shows are planned for the coming weeks.
Dunfermline Chairman John Yorkston says, "In the last 125 years Dunfermline has built up an impressive fan base both in the local community and all over the globe. I'm delighted that we can now engage with fans both far and near and give them additional ways to engage with the club both on matchday and throughout the week through this exciting new online media service".
The Chairman has already recorded an extensive interview with Editor Chris Kane was available from Monday 19th December, the first of a monthly series of shows from the Boardroom.
Annual subscriptions are just £50 for matchday audio commentaries and all other content. However, season ticket holders can subscribe for just £40 for the year, with this offer open until the end of December.
