Martin Hardie feels that it is not too early to get worried about four goal defeats and the current league position:-
"We are almost at the half way stage of the season and we are bottom of the league. It is now time to realise that it is good that we have come up from the First Division into the Premier League but at the end of the day we have got to try and get points on board so that we can make sure that we can maintain our Premier League status.
"We need to stick together as a whole unit and make sure that especially when the games are coming thick and fast over the festive period and into January, when we come up against Celtic, Motherwell and team like that, we need to make sure that we pick up as many points. We don't want to get detached at the bottom. If we do it could be a long hard slog until the end of the season."
The 35 year old midfielder feels that stopping conceding goals is the simplest way to earning some league points:-
"We need to stop conceding goals and if we can create chances at the other end then we will start to win games. We need to get stuck in as a team and try and make it harder for teams to score. Our home form has not been as good as last year.Obviously that was when we were the best team in the First Division and it is different 'gravy' when you are in the Premier League, you are up against it.
"We try and play attacking football as much as we can and when you do that we are pulling players forward but at the same time myself and the experienced players need to use that bit of nous not to be caught out on the counter attack because that's what happens in modern day football."
