The Stair Park side have recorded just three wins ever in the 38 league and cup games between the sides and this season Dunfermline have had the upper hand with three wins to Stranraer`s one. That home win for our opponents in March being their first in 22 home games against the Pars.

Wednesday night`s match in Stranraer is a play off game and it is no surprise when these matches don`t go on past experiences but current form can be a big pointer. Neither side has exactly finished their league campaign strongly. Stranraer`s crucial win over Forfar followed a run of nine matches without one. Dunfermline have only done one better with two wins from their last ten games but are unbeaten in their last four.
