McDonalds go large
Sunday, 6th Apr 2014Pars players to appear at McDonalds this Thursday to say "I'm Lovin it"
Dunfermline Athletic players will visit McDonalds at the Fife Leisure Park after training on Thursday 10th April to acknowledge the contributions collected via collection cans at the outlet since the club had its financial difficulties. It is now 12 months since Dunfermline Athletic went into administration.
McDonalds outlets including High Street, ASDA and at the Fife Leisure Park have now raised over £3000. The can collection has been organised and co-ordinated by the Pars Supporters Trust. Cans in various other locations throughout Dunfermline and district bring the total raised in this way to over £11,000.
The Dunfermline players will present a signed strip to McDonalds on Thursday 10th April between 2.00pm and 3.00pm for them to use for their Ronald McDonald House Charities. Fans are invited to come along to McDonalds at Fife Leisure Park to meet the players and share in the taste of success.
In line with the new DAFC fund raising policy all future monies raised in this way will go directly to DAFC.
