Pat Clarke Post Dundee

Pat Clarke spoke to the media after the 3-1 win over Dundee:-
"It was entertaining for the full 90 minutes. There was a lot of end to end action but luckily enough we managed to win and get the three points."
After considering his response the former Dundee striker agreed that it was nice to score against his old team:-
"It is a wee bit. They associate players who have played in their team and people think that you are going to score but you want to score in every game so I don't really think about it much. I am just happy that I got on the end of that ball and got a wee bit of luck with the goalie coming out. I couldn't really get an easier finish, it was a tap in."
The East End Park punters will be kicking themselves for not taking Pat to score the last goal since it seems a regular occurrence that players seem to always score against their old club:-
"I don't know why it happens; I have done it a few times when I came back to play against Dunfermline and when I came back to play Raith Rovers earlier in my career. I always seem to do it, it's just your luck in the end of the day. People think it is determination but I go into every game determined so it is definitely not that."
Another opportunity comes in the next league game since Pat was formerly at Cowdenbeath:-
"I believe they won today so Jimmy Nic and Colin Cameron are doing really well. They are two great guys so they will have their players up for the game - another Fife Derby which is brilliant. You can't beat playing in them so I look forward to it. We are going in on good form so we have nothing to fear.
"There is definitely a good feeling around the place. That is just natural, when you are on a good run everyone is in a good frame of mind and training is enjoyable. Training is high intensity and hard work but that's the way I want to train. The Gaffer, Cabie, players and all the backroom staff are in good spirit, it is really enjoyable."
