Changes to DAFC Board of Directors
Wednesday, 19th May 201019/05/10: Dunfermline Athletic welcome Kip McBay to the Board of Directors, while Bill McIntosh departs
19/05/10:- Dunfermline Athletic Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Board Director, Kip McBay who will join the Board with immediate effect.
Professor Bill McIntosh, Principal of Carnegie College, Despite having enjoyed his time as a Board Director with Dunfermline Athletic Football Club, Bill has found that due to other commitments he has sadly had to tender his resignation.
Kip an ardent pars supporter, has lived within walking distance of East End Park all his life. Kip was initially a Tour Manager with the Skids and then went on to set up Sound Control one of the UK's most successful music retailers. Since then Kip has set up and is Managing Director of Guitar Guitar a retailer which supplies guitars and musical instruments throughout the UK and Europe.
Kip McBay commented "The playing squad have been playing significantly better over the last season and I can only praise the manager for his efforts and I am really hoping that our squad will achieve the results to see us achieve SPL promotion."
Bill Hodgins, Chief Executive commented "I am delighted that Kip McBay has agreed to join the DAFC Board in this our 125th anniversary year. Kip has an outstanding business background, which can only benefit us at Dunfermline Athletic. I would also like to thank Professor Bill McIntosh for all his efforts over the last two years and am delighted that he will remain an avid Pars supporter."
