Alex Keddie to join the Pars from Ross County

Dunfermline Athletic can confirm that Ross County defender, Alex Keddie has signed a two year deal at East End Park. The 29 year old had signed a pre-contract and the Club are delighted that the deal has now been concluded.

Alex is a big strong central defender who joined the Staggies in 2006 from Stranraer. Before that Alex won an FA Youth Cup winners medal whilst at Leeds United. He also has an Honours degree in Chartered Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University.

Jim McIntyre said " I am looking forward to working with Alex - if you saw the sem-final and final of the Scottish Cup I am sure you will agree that he will bring strength in depth to our defence."

The Club hope to make an announcement next week re the goalkeeping situation.
