Season 10/11 preparations start

Jim McIntyre begins his preparations by releasing five, putting one on the transfer list and renewing three.

Dunfermline Athletic Manager Jim McIntyre has started shaping his squad for next season's First Division campaign by informing five players their contacts will not be renewed, making one available for transfer and extending three players contracts.

Goalkeeper Greg Paterson, who is currently out injured after suffering a double leg break in March, has accepted an offer of a one year contract extension that he is expected to sign tomorrow (Friday 30th April). Graham Bayne has also agreed terms on a short-term deal, which will be extended to a long-term deal upon Graham regaining fitness from an ankle injury, which has hampered the striker for the past few months. Jim has also offered a one-year contract extension to Alex Burke.

  
  

Jim McIntyre has made central defender, Chris Higgins available for transfer and the five players who have been released from their contracts are Greg Ross, Scott Muirhead, Ross Campbell, Graeme Holmes and Stephen Glass.
